About

Deanna Matyskiel is a decorator and designer / art director in Chicago, Illinois. Her passion for design began with making cards and collages in high school. While in college, she studied book binding, fine art, interior design, print making and photography. After graduating from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in Graphic Design, she worked for Artisan, a top creative agency. While working for Artisan, she developed her freelance career, working for clients such as Edelman PR, Jones Lang LaSalle, Harris Bank, and Outside Magazine.

In 2008, she accepted a position as Art Director at General Growth Properties. While at GGP, Deanna designed marketing and advertising materials for the retail industry on a national level. Her clients included Water Tower Place in Chicago and The Shoppes at The Palazzo in Las Vegas. 

Deanna collects inspiration wherever she goes, from travel and vintage objects to fashion trends and flea markets. She enjoys reading, summer bbq’s, yoga, bike rides and Chicago pizza. Her favorite places are Palm Springs, New York City, Montego Bay and Paris.
